Lead Electrician – Wigan, Chorley, Bolton | Permanent

  • Help develop the our electrical division, improving the skills of existing team and manage our compliance with NICEIC.
  • Carrying out electrical repairs in domestic properties
  • Carrying out electrical works for replacement heating systems
  • Carryout diagnosing and repairs of hot water and heating appliance
  • Retaining accreditation as Qualified Supervisor with NICEIC
  • Check and authorise all NICEIC certifications within the field
  • Ensure that all works are fully compliant with current regulations
  • Register/ log all notifiable works with the NICEIC and/ or building control
  • Ensure compliance with company Health & Safety policies
  • Ensure competence of all electricians
  • Have full knowledge of each contract’s electrical specification
  • Carry out work in progress and post inspection audits of all site work
  • Monitor and maintain the calibration of in-house electrical test equipment


  • Applicants should be suitably qualified
  • Be safety aware and committed to a right first time ethos
  • Experience of working in a fast paced and demanding customer environment, with a flexible approach towards meeting the needs of the customer
  • Enthusiastic, with the ability to work on your own initiative, remaining focused and consistent and a ‘can do’ attitude
  • This role will include travel to various locations in the North West
